I know one of the rules on this group is no pushing agendas, but admin does have a bit of leeway and I feel strongly about this 🙂.
I think it's important for all technology so we don't get locked out
of the appliances we buy and are forced to use "qualified service
personnel only for servicing". Sure, you can make mistakes and have
catastrophes, but you learn by doing so.
